Preventative care is always more cost effective and beneficial than fault rectification.

One of the most important aspects of car ownership, but one which is often overlooked. It is often difficult to quantify the value for money aspect of a service until it is too late, usually with much more expensive consequences.

 

In keeping with our ethos of doing things differently, this is borne out with our adherence to the manufacturers own service schedules. We do not believe in the one service suits all regime employed by some independents; as car technology has improved one of the major benefits is that servicing need not be carried out as frequently. However, while long-life servicing is beneficial to your wallet, it does need to be followed religiously, and to this end we at Kingfisher Motor Company are ideally placed to be able to advise of the work required. We NEVER advise work that is not yet due.

 

We always use the correct parts, either genuine parts if still in manufactures warranty, or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts which match the genuine parts in quality but not in price. We ALWAYS use the exact oil as specified by the manufacturer, so you can be assured that your car will be protected from the moment you turn the key.

 

 

And while on the topic of cost, our hourly labour rate is less than 50% of the main dealers! We offer all the same perks, whether that be a loan car, collection and delivery, complimentary wash and vacuum and an idyllic setting to enjoy a barista style coffee while your car is being worked on! Now doesn’t that seem like it’s too good to be true?

 

To this end, we are not always able to quote over the phone for most services as we will check the previous service history of the vehicle to see what is next due. We will always quote before work is carried out if requested, and we always include the extra bits which are sometimes overlooked; cambelts, brake fluid change, air conditioning refresh and recharge to name a few.

 

As a VAT registered garage you can bring your new vehicle to us without worry that your warranty will be invalidated. We keep comprehensive computer records so if there is any query in years to come, the information is easily at hand.
